Volunteers can take to a specially-designed rally course on one of the self-balancing upright scooters, after being given some basic instruction in how not to fall off. This is our first look at Saab's 9-4X - the car that kickstarts the brand's new model initiative. And although the 9-4X BioPower is labelled as a concept, the production car will look almost identical when it goes on sale in 2009. Sharing a platform with the new Cadillac crossover, and drawing on the Aero X concept for styling cues, the 9-4X looks impressive.
Jaguar will have an auspicious presence at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend: it's bringing a one-off, lime green XKR and the record-breaking XFR driven by Paul Gentilozzi at the Bonneville Salt Flats. The one-off XKR is called the Goodwood Special and is based on a 2010 model-year car. It has 21-inch wheels, a lowered ride height and a louder exhaust system.
